The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has activated special warnings for the arrival of storm Leonardo, which will bring intense and persistent rains to a large part of Spain starting this Wednesday, February 4.

The most affected areas will be the peninsular south, especially Cádiz and the Ronda mountains (Málaga), where accumulations exceeding 200 mm in 24 hours are expected. This level of rainfall increases the risk of floods, river overflows, and landslides, due to the soil already saturated by previous rains
