The far-right Vox and its latest populist hyperbole against Sánchez in the face of the migration crisis in Ceuta: "He has lost control of the Spanish people"

The spokesperson for the Vox Parliamentary Group in Andalusia, Javier Cortés, expressed a strong criticism this Sunday towards the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, stating that he has "lost control of the people" despite maintaining dominance over institutions. This statement arises amidst recent protests recorded in various Spanish localities, motivated by the migratory crisis generated in Ceuta.

Thus, in an interview granted to 101TV Sevilla, Cortés stressed that Spanish citizens have not only taken to the streets to support the autonomous city of Ceuta "against the invasion and act of hybrid warfare perpetrated by Morocco", but also to express their discontent against "a traitorous and criminal government".

In the opinion of the representative of the far-right party, the current Executive constitutes "a mafia, a gang that is illicitly enriching itself and that is betraying all Spaniards, especially the most humble sectors."

Defends protests as a reflection of social weariness

Cortés emphasized that the demonstrations held during this last week, including those called this Sunday in Ceuta, show that "indeed the Spanish people are tired of this government", adding that it would be necessary "to call elections as soon as possible" to resolve this political crisis.
