Alma Ezcurra, vicesecretary of Sectoral Coordination of the PP, has distanced herself after the speech by the leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, about unaccompanied minor migrants who have arrived in Spain, after crossing the Ceuta border, defending that this situation should be addressed by applying the mechanisms provided by law, such as family reunification or the return of minors to the social services of their countries of origin.

The popular politician has stated that, "Mr. Abascal is free to express his opinions and his political ideas as he deems appropriate. We do not express ourselves in those terms and we will never do so," she remarked in an interview on 'Onda Cero' this Wednesday. Ezcurra responded in this way, after being asked about the message disseminated by Abascal on the social network X, after the Government announced a budget of 25 million euros to assist unaccompanied migrant minors in the autonomous city. In that message, the leader of Vox assured that "not a single euro from Spaniards should be allocated to unaccompanied minors, to illegals, to invaders, to human trafficking mafias, to Morocco."

In relation to this, the PP official has appealed that the solution involves "complying with the law," which, as she explained, contemplates mechanisms to address this situation. Among them, she cited the reunification of minors with their families or their delivery to the social services of their countries of origin. "We believe that the steps must be followed, we believe that the law must be complied with, and the law provides mechanisms to resolve this crisis," she maintained.

Finally, Alma Ezcurra has demanded "assumption of responsibilities" by the Government, the deployment of more resources, support for the State Security Forces and Corps, the reinforcement of the border, and the identification of all people currently in national territory. In the same vein, the PP leader has requested the appearance of the President of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, in the Congress of Deputies to give explanations about the management of the migratory crisis in Ceuta.
