The PSOE comes out in defense of the manager of the Socialist Group Ana María Fuentes after being cited as a defendant in the 'Leire case'

This same Tuesday, the spokesperson for the Socialist Group in Congress, Patxi López, stressed that the PSOE manager, Ana María Fuentes, has handled the party's accounts "scrupulously" and that, furthermore, Justice has "all the invoices" of their organization. He said this in the corridors of Congress when asked about the decision of the judge of the Audiencia Nacional Santiago Pedraz to summon Fuentes as a defendant on September 9 in the framework of the investigation of the 'Leire case'.

The judge of the Audiencia Nacional Santiago Pedraz has agreed to new proceedings in the so-called 'Leire case' and has summoned the PSOE manager, Ana María Fuentes, and the lawyer Ismael Oliver, who defended the former ministerial advisor Koldo García, to testify as investigated parties on September 9. The magistrate is investigating Fuentes for her possible participation in the issuance of "mendacious engagement notes" that, allegedly, would have served to justify payments from the PSOE to lawyers Jacobo Teijelo and Ismael Oliver.
