The ultra Abascal uses the crisis in Ceuta to intensify his insults: he accuses Sánchez of having a "mafia" and having committed "a betrayal"

The far-right led by Santiago Abascal has used the migratory crisis that Ceuta is experiencing after the massive entry of people into the territory to intensify its insults to the Government of Pedro Sánchez and to spread its xenophobic speeches, as is the case with the statements by Vox deputy José María Figaredo.

In this context, the leader of the far-right formation has published a message on his X account, addressed to Pedro Sánchez, in which he accuses him of having a "mafia" and of having committed "treason" against Spaniards. Thus, Abascal has built his accusation around the Government's management of the relationship with Morocco. The leader of Vox maintains that "Sánchez and his mafia colonize the State, destroy the middle classes and loot Spaniards" and accuses the Executive of favoring the neighboring country through financing, loans and commercial agreements that, according to his version, would harm Spanish producers. In his message, he also maintains that Morocco would have protagonized "an act of hybrid warfare against Spain" with the massive entry into Ceuta.

The Vox leader also states that the Government would have known in advance the risk of what happened and questions why, after the crisis, the Executive continues to describe Morocco as a reliable partner. In this sense, he accuses Sánchez of allowing, in his words, the neighboring country to challenge Spanish sovereignty while maintaining a cooperative relationship with it. "After the invasion, Sánchez's mafia says that Morocco is a loyal and reliable ally," he wrote.

Based on these accusations, Abascal concludes that the Prime Minister and his Executive would have committed "an evident betrayal" and demands that those responsible answer before the Supreme Court. The leader of Vox believes that Parliament has the capacity to promote this path and maintains that "there are no excuses not to try."

Figaredo maintains his xenophobic statements about the Ceuta crisis

The formation led by Santiago Abascal has been carrying out a xenophobic discourse after the massive entry of migrant people into the autonomous city of Ceuta. However, one of the most controversial figures has been deputy José María Figaredo, who has stated in various public interventions that what needed to be done was "hunt" migrants and return them to Morocco. Despite potentially facing a hate crime, the extremist has assured: "I do not regret, nor do I retract anything, focus on the interest of Spaniards."

"What is needed is to ensure the interest of Spaniards," he stated along the same lines, while accusing the press of "distracting attention from the human drama of Ceuta." On the other hand, he reiterated the far-right formation's refusal to host migrants in the communities where they govern jointly with the Popular Party. "An unacceptable situation due to the betrayal of the Government that does not apply the law and due to a pact in Ceuta that does not allow it to be applied," he continued. "In Ceuta there is a situation of absolute insecurity, the invasion is total," concluded the far-rightist.
