José Antonio Fúster, national spokesperson for Vox, has criticized Juan Jesús Vivas, president of Ceuta, for his "permanent whining," in relation to the migrant minors arriving in the autonomous city. He has also asked for his resignation and, at the same time, reproached him for not "defending" their return to Morocco, but rather their distribution to other Spanish autonomous communities.

In an intervention on 'Radio Libertad', Fúster reproached the president of Ceuta for stating that he has "many minors" in his city and "I need the communities to take them in." Fúster continued by adding that, "I have never heard him say what the legislation says, but also the United Nations and the bilateral agreement with Morocco, which we do not comply with." Furthermore, he also appealed for every minor entering from the African country to be returned "with their family to their country" to preserve, as he stated, "something as important as their identity, their culture, their religion, and their language."

He did not stop there, and continued in his intervention by saying, "that is not what I hear from President Vivas. He always takes for granted that any minor who comes, is a minor who must be distributed," he stressed, to then continue criticizing the president of Ceuta for not having a "strong and demanding opposition but always defending the maximum collaboration of the Government." Fúster also posed a question to Vivas: "Will you do us the favor of defending the interests of Ceuta and, by extension, those of all Spain?"

Finally, the national spokesperson for Vox lamented that Vivas, in his plea of "help us defend Ceuta," does not "add and apologize for all the things he has done to favor the enemies of Spain" in his autonomous city. "And to obtain forgiveness you will have to fulfill the penance, which is the last requirement. What is fulfilling the penance? Resign, man, or, at least, announce that you are breaking your dependence on the PSOE and the pro-Moroccan party in Ceuta," Fúster concluded.
