'Malas Lenguas Noche' by Jesús Cintora confirms its unstoppable growth on La 2 with a historic 7.9% share

'Malas Lenguas Noche' once again brought joy to La 2 this Saturday. The program presented by Jesús Cintora achieved a new historical record with a 7.9% audience share and an average of 457,000 viewers, a result with which it led its time slot among all national channels.

Up to 2,722,000 people tuned in at some point to the show, which also became the most watched broadcast of the day on La 2. The program improved by seven tenths the 7.2% achieved just a week earlier, when it had already set its previous high.

In the overall prime time, 'Malas Lenguas Noche' was only three tenths behind 'Atrapa un millón' and 'Hay una cosa que te quiero decir', which scored 8.2% on Antena 3 and Telecinco. Cintora's show matched the 7.9% of the movie 'Shall We Dance?' on La 1 and once again competed head-to-head with the main generalist channels.

The gap was wider against its direct rival. 'LaSexta Xplica' gathered 328,000 viewers and obtained a 5.6%, remaining 2.3 points below the La 2 program. 'Malas Lenguas Noche' even exceeded 684,000 viewers during its most watched minute.

The new record culminated the program's best month since its premiere. The Saturday edition closed July with an average of 385,000 viewers and a 5.5% share, La 2's best result in that time slot since March 2006.
