Amanda Villavieja, Laia Casanovas and Yasmina Praderas have won this Saturday the Goya Award 2026 for Best Sound for their work in Sirat. With this recognition, they become the first team formed entirely by women to win a Goya in this category. Furthermore, they could also make history in Hollywood, as they are nominated for the Oscar for Best Sound.
In the section competed Aitor Berenguer, Gabriel Gutiérrez and Candela Palencia for The Captive; Andrea Sáenz Pereiro and Mayte Cabrera for The Sundays; Daniel de Zayas, Gabriel Gutiérrez and Candela Palencia for The Tigers; and Urko Garai, Enrique G. Bermejo and Alejandro Castillo for Deaf.

For his part, as we have been reporting on 'ElConstitucional.es', Antonio “Toni” Fernández Gabarre has won this Saturday the Goya Award 2026 for Best New Actor for his performance in the film Ciudad sin sueño, in a gala marked by the celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Spanish cinema awards.
The actor prevailed in his category over Julio Peña (The captive), Hugo Welzel (Enemies), Jan Monter Palau (Strange river) and Mitch (Pilgrimage), consolidating himself as one of the emerging names in the cinematic landscape.
