Andrea Duro and Guillermo Sánchez are now husband and wife. The actress announced that she got married civilly this Thursday, October 29, just two days before the celebration scheduled for this Saturday. She did so through her social media, where she shared a photograph of their intertwined hands and wedding bands, accompanied by a particularly significant message: "A little light amidst so much darkness. Today was my civil wedding."
The ceremony took place in Madrid and was celebrated intimately. The couple thus chose to formalize their marriage before the big weekend party, which will take place at Finca La Montaña, in Aranjuez. The location has a special meaning for the actress, as some scenes from Física o Química: el reencuentro were filmed there, the return of the fiction that made Duro one of the most recognized faces on Spanish television.
For the occasion, the actress entrusted designer Álvaro Lucas, creative director of Baro Lucas, who has revealed that the bride will wear two dresses during the celebration. The choice also has a personal component: Andrea maintains a close friendship with the designer, whom she defined as "a great friend, whom I love and admire." The couple has kept much of the preparations secret, although the designer has said that the actress enjoyed the process without obsessing over every detail.
Andrea and Guillermo's love story began long before their relationship started. Both met nine years ago during the filming of Velvet Colección, when he was working as a camera assistant and she noticed him, although they didn't get close then. Their paths crossed again some time later and the relationship eventually solidified. In September 2025, they announced their engagement during a getaway to Granada. Now, a year later, they are celebrating their wedding surrounded by their loved ones.
The actress has said that she met Guillermo Sánchez during the filming of Velvet Colección, when he was working as a camera assistant. "Nine years ago, while filming Velvet Colección, I noticed a guy who was working as a camera assistant. I would give him some suggestive looks, he never reacted and never paid attention to me," she recalled. However, that first encounter did not lead to a relationship: "A month after we started filming, he left and I never saw that nice guy again." Their paths crossed again some time later and, as Andrea explained, "life wanted to bring us together again, this time under the best conditions."
