Bad Gyal has no intention of sharing a studio with Taylor Swift, not even if she received a millionaire offer. The Catalan artist has spoken about the collaborations she would accept and those she would discard during an interview on the podcast Blender, in which she made it clear that she does not feel identified with the ideas she associates with the American singer nor with her musical proposal.
The interpreter of Fiebre addressed the question after being asked about possible collaborations with Argentine artists such as Lali Espósito and Tini Stoessel. Although she acknowledged that both have very different styles from hers, she was open to working with them. However, when it came time to mention an artist with whom she would not collaborate, she chose Taylor Swift.

The singer posed a hypothetical situation in which she was offered three million euros or dollars to record a song with the pop star. Her answer would be negative. "I don't feel represented by her ideas, by what her music represents," she explained during the conversation.
Bad Gyal also resorted to memes circulating on social media to illustrate her opinion on Swift's music. "This is what Taylor Swift's music sounds like," she stated before recalling comparisons that describe her as "a rotten hard-boiled egg, a dry chicken without spices, bland."
She also clarified that she had chosen that example because she considers it unlikely that they would ever meet professionally. "I could go further and attack someone we all know, but this woman, since I'm never going to meet her, I talk about her," she pointed out. In this way, she justified her choice as an example of an artist with whom she does not share musical or personal affinity and whom she believes she is far from knowing.

Madonna is among her dream collaborations
On the opposite side, Bad Gyal did express her desire to work with Madonna. The Catalan singer acknowledged that she would love to collaborate with the queen of pop, with whom she believes she could fit better from an artistic point of view.
Her statements thus paint two very different scenarios: while a collaboration with Taylor Swift would be ruled out even with an extraordinary financial offer, working with Madonna is part of her musical desires. These words have brought to the table the differences in tastes and references between two artists of different generations and styles, and are generating controversy on social media.
