Belén Esteban clarifies her position in the controversy with Julia Janeiro: "I don't want a war with Julia"

The controversy between Belén Esteban and Julia Janeiro continues to generate reactions, although the collaborator has wanted to clarify her position regarding the daughter of Jesulín de Ubrique and María José Campanario. In one of her latest public appearances, Belén has assured that she does not seek to maintain a confrontation with the young woman and has differentiated her relationship with her from the differences she has with her father.

"I don't want a war with Julia, who is 23 years old. I will be 53 on November 9," explained the collaborator during the XII edition of the Chicote Awards, held in Madrid.

Her differences with Jesulín

Belén Esteban has wanted to separate at all times her relationship with Julia from her disagreements with Jesulín de Ubrique. "The one I have a war with is her father. And I'm going to continue having it," she declared. She has also demanded that the bullfighter intervene publicly in the situation: "What the father has to do is show his face now."

In this context, the collaborator has also questioned some information about the relationship between Jesulín and Andrea Janeiro. "If she suffers for her parents, I suffer for my daughter," she explained, before adding: "Maybe we should look in the dictionary for what the word absence means, because I think all of Spain has seen it." These are statements that, as she has defended, are part of a family history that she has been publicly explaining for years.

Julia's campaign and the "enchufe"

The controversy has also returned to the forefront after Julia Janeiro starred in an advertising campaign in which she refers to the criticism received for her status as a "nepo baby."

The young woman recently explained the meaning of the campaign and acknowledged that the message plays precisely with that perception: "You have to laugh at being a 'plugged-in' person. I am a 'plugged-in' person for some, for others, no."

Belén Esteban has also reacted to this new professional stage of Julia. The collaborator has given as an example the trajectory of her own daughter and has defended the path she has followed outside of Spain. "Of course, the one who is not a 'plugged-in' person is my daughter, who is in the United States, making a living, without saying that she is the daughter of Jesús Janeiro Bazán and Belén Esteban, let's not forget that," she declared.

Despite their differences, Belén has also positively valued Julia's continued development of professional projects and has made it clear that her statements are not intended to turn the situation into a personal confrontation with the young woman.

"Mom, speak"

In her most recent statements, Belén has also explained that her daughter Andrea has given her permission to speak publicly about certain aspects of this story. "My daughter, at 18, told me 'don't speak', but now she has told me, 'mom, speak'. And I speak little", she recounted. Even so, she has assured that she prefers to preserve Andrea's privacy: "Selfishly, I would love it" if she spoke, she admitted, although she added that she wants her daughter "to remain anonymous".

The collaborator has also insisted that she does not intend to delve into Julia's personal life. "I only give advice to my daughter", she stated, while assuring that she is happy that the young woman is doing well professionally. Regarding the letter that Julia recently published on social media talking about a complicated period during her childhood, Belén has chosen not to comment in depth: "I'm sorry, honestly. But I haven't read it and I can't speak".

For now, Belén thus maintains her stance: distance from Julia and criticisms directed mainly at Jesulín de Ubrique, while continuing to defend the story she has told for years about her relationship with Andrea's paternal family.

Clarifies her professional future: "TV no longer wants me"

Belén Esteban has admitted that, although she is satisfied with her activity on social media, she does not rule out returning to television. "I am very happy with my networks, but I wouldn't mind returning to TV. What happens is that I think TV no longer wants me", she pointed out.

Regarding rumors about her departure from television, Belén wanted to make it clear that it was a personal decision. "Everyone says that 'Belén Esteban was kicked off TV', that's a lie. I made a decision and that's it", she affirmed. She also assured that she has especially enjoyed these last few months away from the small screen.

For the moment, she also does not contemplate participating in Gran Hermano VIP. "I am not going to Gran Hermano VIP because I have my mommy that I have to take care of her," she explained. In addition, when talking about her professional situation, she referred to the lack of proposals: "Everyone has seen a contract that I have not seen." In this context, she lamented that no one has called her to talk about her possible return and quoted Julia Janeiro's words: "We must let the new generations step strong."

The collaborator has also explained that she misses some aspects of her previous television routine. "What I miss most is the routine, the day-to-day, because I do my collaborations, but a day-to-day: the routine, getting your hair done, getting pretty... all that," she said.
