Kiko Rivera was discharged from the hospital yesterday. It was the DJ himself who communicated the news this Monday morning through his social networks, via a new statement. However, once again, he has used his state of health and the texts he publishes —apparently created with artificial intelligence— to lash out at everything and everyone, while enlarging that "media pressure" that he points to as the cause of all his ills, even his hospitalization. Self-criticism, once again, is left for another time.
Already in his first statement, when he confirmed that his hospitalization was due to having suffered a new stroke, he pointed to the press as responsible. "The stress experienced has had a lot to do with it. I have been living under media pressure for too long, with my name present every day on televisions, social networks, and headlines," he stated. However, it seems that Kiko Rivera forgets that it is he himself who stirs the hornet's nest every time he wants to make money.
I'll give you an example: in recent months he has been three times to the program De Viernes, on Telecinco, where he has unreservedly attacked both his ex-partners and his mother, with whom, by the way, he has already reconciled.
The same Kiko who complains about media pressure sits in Telecinco's prime time to detail at length the state of his relationship with his sister and even offer all kinds of details about the reconciliation with Isabel Pantoja: "The one behind the phone is her." He also took the opportunity to lash out at his ex-partners, Irene Rosales and Jessica Bueno: "I have no communication with either of them. I don't give a damn about either of them." With that arrogance and lack of respect he spoke of the mothers of his children. But, according to him, the fault of the media pressure lies with the journalists.
The worst part was taken by Irene Rosales, whom he accused of being a liar and an opportunist, in addition to encouraging her to "shut her mouth." He also insinuated that she was already in a relationship with her current partner, Guillermo, before they separated: "Irene is not behaving well. When I separate from her, she is already with Guillermo." For him to precisely reproach Irene Rosales for an alleged infidelity or any behavior is to have very little memory and/or shame.
But let's talk about the latest statement, in which he announces that he has been discharged. What should be positive news once again turns into an opportunity to send a poisoned message to someone he doesn't even name: "At no time has private information about my condition been leaked [...] It has served to confirm that the famous 'mole' was not where many thought. That person, fortunately, is no longer part of my life". He knows perfectly well that the press will ask ourselves the same question: who is this new dart aimed at? And it is not difficult to conclude that the only person who has recently left his life is Irene Rosales.
Meanwhile, his ex-partner has to justify on social media the simple fact of continuing to live a normal life: "You make me responsible for a situation for which I cannot be responsible. It is not my place, and all I do is live my life. To anyone who is bothered by it, I invite them to unfollow me". Blessed patience.
This article does not intend to criticize Kiko Rivera for going on television shows or making money talking about his life. On the contrary, those of us who work in the gossip press appreciate having stories to tell. What makes no sense is to take advantage of that exposure when it suits him and then blame the press for all the problems. His actions are his own enemies, not us. Now it's time to take care of himself, recover, and point the finger at others a little less.
