The artists María Peláe and Alba Reig have announced that they have married, thus confirming one of the most solid and admired romances in the Spanish music scene. The news was given by Peláe herself through social media with an image of the ring and a message full of humor: “in the end I convinced her”.
The relationship between both goes much further than the sentimental. Alba Reig, member of Sweet California, is also a producer of Peláe's albums, which has consolidated a creative tandem that has given rise to several successes. Among them stands out Arde, a song that Aitana performed in Operación Triunfo 2017 with the aim of representing Spain in Eurovision.
Their story began at a complicated moment for Peláe, when she was still combining different jobs and was going through a delicate personal stage. Since then, they have grown together both personally and professionally, becoming one of the most visible couples of the LGTBI+ collective in Spain.
