Francisco has grown tired of remaining silent and seeing news published about himself and a possible disappearance. The artist was being sought by the Guardia Civil after Investigating Court No. 33 of Barcelona ordered his location after he failed to appear for a summons to testify as an investigated party in a criminal procedure for an alleged crime of non-payment of alimony. However, after the publication of said information, his lawyer appeared last Wednesday in court, as we exclusively published.

After all the information that has been published about him and after this media outlet had access to the private negotiations that would have been held by Denia Apolinar, mother of his daughter, and him about her pension, we obtained the artist's first statements, which we have advanced in the program ‘D Corazón’. Francisco denounces being the victim of an orchestrated campaign against him: “I am not a character very close to the regime and all the pro-regime media have attacked me like hyenas. This is a smokescreen to cover up a lot of things that have happened this week. I am fed up with artists being used.”

Furthermore, the artist clarifies that he has not been missing at any moment: “I have not hidden, nor do I hide, nor will I ever hide from anyone in my life, because I am not afraid of anyone. No one is looking for me, nor has anyone ever looked for me. I don't know where they invented that. When I saw the news that was being published, I couldn't believe it and I contacted my lawyer”. He clarifies that this whole situation has not amused him at all: “In the end, you have to take it as a joke. My family and friends have been asking me where I was hiding. It's very easy to locate me. I have my social media, my booking phone… a thousand things”.

When asked about the private conversations around the negotiations he would have maintained with Denia Apolinar about his daughter's pension Naomi, he states: “I am not going to put qualifiers to what it seems to me Denia is doing. Every certain time this lady comes out, who what she seeks is what we all know: to make a television tour. Enough is enough. A conversation between her and me I consider a private conversation. Denia the only thing she seeks is money”.

In this first interview of the artist after the controversy, Francisco lashes out against Apolinar: “I am fed up with these people. Do you know what 25 years of putting up with a woman with whom I have had nothing is?”. When asked if he recognizes Naomi as his daughter, he is emphatic: “This girl is my daughter because the law says so. I did not do the tests at the time and I regret it, the truth is, yes. But now, no matter how much I wanted to do them, the situation would not change. Once condemned and judged, there is no turning back, no matter if the DNA and the true father of this girl came out.”.

In an article published in this same medium, we reported that Francisco and Naomi came to have a relationship and speak privately about how to solve the legal battle they have been dragging on for years. “I no longer speak with Naomi. It's been a long time since I've had conversations with her, it must be a year or two. What I want is to end this story now. This girl, I imagine, will also want to end all this. Well, girl… she is a woman.”

In the conversation we have with the artist, we also asked him about the pension he would have to pay to Naomi. “I don't know when people are of legal age or independent. What happens, when they are 40 or 50 years old…? But I'm here for them to pay me a pension,” he ironizes. Despite everything, he trusts in justice: “Justice has to do its job and it will. I no longer want 15,000, nor 10,000, nor 5,000. I am 67 years old, I continue working, I am not collecting any retirement. Let people work”.
