A Tour Through Alejandro Sanz's Music
The production company Stage Entertainment España, responsible for major productions such as The Lion King, Anastasia, and TINA, has confirmed the start of the pre-production phase for the musical El alma al aire, inspired by the extensive catalog of Alejandro Sanz. The show's title takes its name from one of the artist's most emblematic songs, and its plot will be built around his most recognized themes.
Although the official release date has not yet been announced, the production is being designed so that the audience can enjoy a selection of Sanz's most beloved songs on stage, whose musical career has spanned more than three decades and has resulted in essential Spanish pop hits.
The choice of the title El alma al aire refers to one of Alejandro Sanz's most celebrated albums, which includes classic songs like the title track from the album El Alma al Aire, released in 2000 and considered a milestone in his discography.
A project with a grand spectacle vocation
Stage Entertainment is confident that it can turn El alma al aire into a large-scale musical that will attract both fans of the artist and new audiences. The production company has emphasized that a creative approach is being developed that will combine the power of Sanz's lyrics with innovative staging and visual elements, although it currently remains in the development phase.
Sources linked to the production have revealed that the song selection will cover different moments of Alejandro Sanz's career, with songs that have marked his trajectory both in Spain and internationally. Although details about the artistic team or the cast that will participate have not been confirmed, it is expected that the proposal will attract top-tier musical theater talents.
Premiere of the documentary about his life
In parallel with the theatrical project, Alejandro Sanz premiered the documentary series Cuando nadie me ve on Movistar Plus+ on January 27, directed by Álvaro Ron. The audiovisual production—available exclusively on the platform—offers an intimate and emotional portrait of the singer, showing his life offstage, his creative process, and personal moments rarely shown to the public, built from over 200 hours of unreleased material and personal recordings.

It's funny to wake up to a message from my manager saying: Today will be a beautiful day, 'Cuando nadie me ve' premieres today!!!

And at the same time, to be terrified because the reality is that today everyone will see me.
It's on @MovistarPlus … I'm waiting for all of you who see me and those who don't…
