Bad Bunny turned Barcelona into an authentic Puerto Rican party this Friday night. The singer inaugurated his awaited Spanish tour at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys with an overwhelming show that gathered tens of thousands of people and left images difficult to forget.

Long before the concert started, the atmosphere already anticipated a special night. The stadium vibrated amidst chants, flags and a collective energy that finally exploded when the artist appeared on stage dressed in a cream-colored suit, golden glasses and accompanied by a band dressed in pink. A few seconds of silence were enough for the audience to erupt in a unanimous shout.

The repertoire started by mixing some of his most recent songs with sounds very linked to Puerto Rico. Songs like Pitorro de coco, Weltita or Turista set the tone for a performance that went far beyond a succession of commercial hits. Between salsa, bolero and urban rhythms, Bad Bunny built a show where he constantly vindicated his roots and his cultural identity.

As the minutes passed, the concert gained intensity. The singer abandoned the more elegant look to appear with a more street-like aesthetic and the stadium ended up transformed into a gigantic dance floor. Anthems like Tití me preguntó, Me porto bonito or Veldá made the audience jump practically without rest, on a night where no one remained seated for too long.

One of the most celebrated moments came with the surprise appearance of Bad Gyal during Yo perreo sola. The Catalan artist joined the show amidst a monumental ovation from a completely devoted audience.

The final stretch of the concert maintained the level of euphoria with songs like Ojitos lindos, El apagón or Debí tirar más fotos, while fireworks illuminated the sky of Montjuïc. Beyond the figures or the visual spectacle, the feeling that the night left was that of having experienced something collective, almost emotional.

Because if Bad Bunny demonstrated something again in Barcelona, it is that he not only fills stadiums, he makes thousands of people feel for a few hours that they are part of the same place. And this Friday, that place was Puerto Rico.
