The Ídolo Awards change their stage. Dulceida, artistic name of Aida Domènech, has announced that the fifth edition of the awards dedicated to recognizing the work of content creators will be held for the first time in Barcelona. The event will take place on December 2 and will bring together some of the most prominent names in the national digital scene.
After four editions held in Madrid, the organization has decided to move the event to the Catalan capital, a choice they justify by its "artistic legacy, its innovative spirit and its ability to drive the creative movements that define each era". The venue that will host the gala has not yet been revealed.
Dulceida herself has celebrated this change of location and has highlighted the link between the awards and the city. "Arriving in Barcelona means doing so in a city that understands creativity as a motor of transformation and that shares with these awards an open view to the future," said the content creator.
The influencer has also championed the evolution of awards that were born to recognize an increasingly consolidated profession. "Five years ago we committed to recognizing a profession that was transforming the way of communicating, creating and connecting with people. Today content creators are part of contemporary culture and the Ídolo Awards have consolidated as the space that celebrates that talent," she affirmed. The organization adds that this year's edition, with a floral theme, will once again highlight "the talent, creativity and capacity for influence of those who are defining the culture of our time."
