The first images of Martin Urrutia in ‘Kraken: El libro negro de las horas’ have caused a sensation among fans and critics, showing the actor unrecognizable and totally immersed in a dark and enigmatic character. The film will be one of the featured titles in the next edition of the Festival de Cine de Málaga, where it is expected to have its official presentation on Friday, March 13 at the Cine Albéniz.
The adaptation of the literary success of Marta Robles promises a combination of mystery, intrigue and drama, and Urrutia's transformation is already generating speculation about the intensity of her role and the tone of the film.

Unai López de Ayala, known as Kraken (Alejo Sauras), receives an anonymous call that changes everything he thought he knew about his family past: he has one week to find the legendary Black Book of Hours, one of the seven most exclusive bibliographic jewels in existence, or his mother, whom he believed dead for decades, will die. Alongside Esti (Maggie Civantos), Kraken begins a race against time to trace the most important criminal profile of his career, a challenge capable of changing his past forever. Martin joins the cast to play Gael, a 'vintage' young man from the 70s, almost unrecognizable on screen, who will bring mystery and intense twists to the plot.

The Festival de Cine de Málaga 2026 will serve as the perfect setting to show the film to press and public, consolidating ‘Kraken’ as one of the most anticipated Spanish premieres of the year and generating the first big reaction about the presence of the singer and actor in the film.
