Karol G and Greeicy unite their voices for Colombia in an emotional tribute after the earthquakes: "When we unite we are much stronger"

Karol G wanted to turn her concert into a space of tribute and solidarity with Colombia in light of the difficult situation the country is going through after the earthquakes registered in recent days. The singer invited her friend Greeicy to the stage of her tour Viajando por el Mundo - TropiTour, at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, with whom she shared an emotional performance of Amiga mía before dedicating words of support to all those affected by the tragedy.

With the flag of Colombia as the protagonist, Greeicy took the floor to express what it meant for her to share that moment with Karol G. “Any Colombian tonight knows what it means to see us together here at this moment,” the artist affirmed, visibly emotional. The singer also highlighted the pride she feels for her country and emphasized society's response to the tragedy.

Greeicy wanted to especially underline the unity and solidarity that the situation has awakened, not only among Colombians, but also among people from other countries and Latin communities. “When our country is showing us solidarity, not only Colombians, but all people in the world,” she pointed out, thanking those who are joining in to help those affected.

The artist also spoke from a more personal level and acknowledged that the tragedy had made her value even more the time with her loved ones. “How blessed I am for one more day, for being with them, because I feel that life goes by in an instant,” she confessed. For Greeicy, that reflection had to translate into a concrete attitude: helping those who need it most. “The most beautiful way to give thanks is to go see others, whoever you can help,” she affirmed.

The message also included words of recognition for Karol G and her solidarity work through her foundation, as well as for all the people who are collaborating with Colombia at this time. Greeicy insisted that help will be necessary for a long period and appealed to maintain unity: “When we unite, we are much stronger.”

Finally, the two artists asked the audience for a big round of applause for Colombia and conveyed their affection to those affected.  “Colombia, we love you, we adore you, we admire you. Much strength in these very hard times you are going through,” they proclaimed from the stage, turning the concert into a heartfelt tribute to a country that still needs support after the tragedy.
