Shakira's residency in Madrid enters its decisive stretch and there are still several cards to be revealed. The Colombian has already completed six concerts surrounded by surprise guests, but still has six more nights ahead at Macondo Park. Among them, one is especially marked: October 3rd, which will be broadcast live worldwide via Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch.

The broadcast will start at 8:45 PM and can be rewatched for the following 24 hours. And precisely for this reason, the question begins to gain strength among the artist's followers: will Shakira save a special surprise for a night that will have viewers all over the planet?

Among the names appearing in the pools is Maluma, although there is also room for other possibilities, such as Bizarrap, or even a guest no one is expecting. The only thing confirmed for now is that Maluma will be one of the guest artists during the Madrid residency. What remains a mystery is when his turn will come.

Maluma and his big clue for the residency

Maluma is one of the names that has generated the most expectation since Shakira's concerts began in Madrid. Both artists share a long musical history, with collaborations such as Chantaje, Trap and Clandestino. Now, eight years after their last joint work, they have reunited their voices in Agua, a song that saw the light on September 18, just as Shakira's Madrid residency was kicking off.

But the big clue was given by Shakira herself. The Colombian posted a video in which she asked her followers if she wanted to tell them “the day @maluma comes to sing with me here in Madrid”. The Colombian reacted to the publication with a “Shakkk it was a secret haha”, thus confirming that the meeting on stage is planned, although the date remains unknown.

And that's where the concert on October 3rd comes in. There is no confirmation that Maluma will appear that night, but the global broadcast via Amazon Music makes that date one of the most significant of the residency. If it were finally the chosen day, both would also have several songs to choose from: Chantaje, Trap, Clandestino and their new collaboration, Agua.

For now, it's all speculation. Maluma is confirmed as Shakira's guest in Madrid, but no one knows yet when his moment will arrive.

Alejandro Sanz already turned Madrid into two iconic nights

The guests have become one of the great attractions of this residency. Shakira began to play that card with Laura Pausini, with whom she performed Antología. Then came Alejandro Sanz, who further raised expectations by appearing for two consecutive nights.

In the first, both recovered La tortura, one of the most remembered collaborations in Spanish music. The next day, Sanz accompanied Shakira again to sing Corazón partío, with the artist herself.

His presence also had a special component due to the friendship they have maintained for years. After the concert, Sanz himself shared a message on social media dedicated to the singer in which he spoke of the “magic, music and Latin pride” experienced during that night.

Manuel Turizo was the last surprise

Shakira still had another card up her sleeve. In her sixth Madrid concert, which took place yesterday, Sunday, September 27, Manuel Turizo took to the stage to perform Copa vacía with her. The song, originally released in 2023, acquired a special meaning in Madrid because it was the first time they both performed the song together in Spain.

With Turizo, the list of guests for the residency now totals three names: Laura Pausini, Alejandro Sanz, and Manuel Turizo. And there are still six concerts ahead: October 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11.

Maluma, Bizarrap, or a surprise nobody expects?

That's where the mystery lies now. Shakira has turned every concert into a box of surprises, but there are still six nights ahead and nobody knows who will be the next artist to join her on stage.

Maluma is, for obvious reasons, one of the most talked-about names. His musical history with the Colombian singer and the messages they have exchanged on social media have fueled speculation, although his date remains a secret. Bizarrap also appears in the predictions, another artist with whom Shakira has already shown a musical connection that transcends the stage after BZRP Music Sessions #53/66 that closes the event, although there is no confirmation that he will participate in any of the remaining concerts.

And then there's the possibility that Shakira will once again defy all predictions with a completely unexpected guest. She already did it with Laura Pausini, so fans' imaginations are certainly not limited. If we're going to dream, why not think of Rihanna or Beyoncé?

The unknown gains even more strength with the concert on October 3. Not because it's confirmed that Maluma, Bizarrap, or any other artist will appear, but because it will be an especially important night: the show will be streamed live from anywhere in the world via Amazon Music, Prime Video, and Twitch.

For now, the only certainty is clear: Maluma is confirmed as Shakira's guest in Madrid, but his date has yet to be revealed. Everything else is possibilities, rumors, and predictions. And after six concerts full of surprises, Shakira still has six opportunities to break the script again.
