Letizia Ortiz has participated in an institutional video recorded in the gardens of the Zarzuela Palace to congratulate the Cultural Center of Spain in Paraguay for its 50th anniversary, although the recording has not been made public until several days after its completion.

The audiovisual content, disseminated by the cultural institution itself through social media, shows the Queen addressing the center with a message in which she highlights its role as “constellation of stories” and as a space for cultural cooperation between Spain and Paraguay. The video was recorded on the same day that the Queen's official agenda included other commitments at the Royal Palace, during a lunch prior to the delivery of the Cervantes Prize 2025.

In her speech, Letizia recalls her visit to the center in 2021 and emphasizes the importance of the network of Spanish cultural centers abroad, highlighting their work in the field of inclusion, artistic creation, and cultural exchange. She also highlights the value of culture as a tool for social transformation and connection between countries.

The message has attracted attention on social media due to the incorporation of expressions in Guaraní, a co-official language in Paraguay alongside Spanish and widely used in the daily life of the country. The Queen closes her speech by thanking the center for its work and congratulating its leaders for these five decades of shared cultural activity.
