Rosalía returned to the stage this Thursday at the TD Garden in Boston, marking her return to the tour after having canceled the first three dates of the LUX Tour in the United States last week due to a “family emergency,” as reported then by the promoter Live Nation.
The Catalan singer was supposed to inaugurate her American tour on June 4 in Miami, but on the same day of the concert, the suspension of the performances scheduled in Miami (June 4 and 6) and Orlando (June 8) was announced, leaving their rescheduling in the air while fans held onto their tickets awaiting new dates.
A week later, Rosalía reappeared in Boston visibly emotional, offering a concert full of intensity and gratitude to the audience who received her with support after her absence. During the performance, the artist addressed her followers with a speech in which she did not detail the reasons for the cancellation, but she did emphasize the importance of “loved ones”.

“It’s such a long, long journey to see you all here. It’s such a lovely feeling to be able to perform for you. Thank you for being so…

“It’s such a long journey to be able to see you all here. Thank you for understanding,” expressed the performer, who also acknowledged the difficult moment experienced in recent days.
In her speech, Rosalía reflected on the personal situation that led her to suspend part of the tour. “Loved ones must come first… when something unexpected and painful happens, it can be difficult to move forward,” she stated before a devoted audience who responded with constant applause.
The artist closed her message by assuring that she faces this stage “with all the love” and thanking her followers for their understanding at the start of her tour, and she was visibly affected interpreting Magnolias during the closing of the concert.

The singer's return was also marked by the staging of the LUX Tour, where she premiered several outfits, including a Dior design with a fitted silhouette, ornamental details, and a tulle skirt, in addition to other brilliant looks that reinforce the theatrical aesthetic of the tour.
Rosalía will continue her agenda in North America with upcoming stops in Toronto, New York, Chicago, and San Diego, while the rescheduling of the canceled dates in Miami and Orlando remains pending.
