RTVE will offer live coverage of the funeral Mass presided over by the King and Queen in memory of the deceased in Adamuz

The Spanish Radio and Television Corporation (RTVE) will broadcast live this Thursday, January 29, the funeral mass in memory of the victims of the tragic train accident that occurred in Adamuz (Córdoba)

RTVE will broadcast live from minutes before 6:00 PM this Thursday, January 29, the funeral mass in memory of the 45 deceased in the Adamuz train accident, which occurred on January 18, as well as for the injured and those affected by the tragedy. The broadcast can be followed on La 1, Canal 24 Horas, and RTVE Play, with presentations by Pepa Bueno from Madrid and Diego Garcés from Huelva.

The religious ceremony will take place at the ‘Carolina Marín’ Sports Palace in Huelva, and will be concelebrated by the president of the Spanish Episcopal Conference, Luis Javier Argüello García; the emeritus bishop of Huelva, José Vilaplana Blasco; and the diocesan clergy.

The First Vice President of the Government and Minister of Finance, **María Jesús Montero**, will attend the funeral **representing the Executive**, accompanying the King and Queen along with other ministers, as reported by the Government spokesperson, **Elma Saiz**. The Executive has stated its commitment to **respect for the victims and support for their families**.

A State tribute in Huelva was initially scheduled for January 31, but it was postponed to facilitate the attendance of the affected families, who expressed various reservations and preferences regarding the date and format of the tribute. 

In addition to the television broadcast, RTVE Noticias, public radio (Radio Nacional and Radio 5), and the corporation's social media will offer summaries and highlights of the ceremony, with contextual information about the railway tragedy and its consequences for the affected families and communities.
