Rosalía, Amaia, Guitarricadelafuente and Leiva are positioned as the most nominated in the third edition of the Spanish Music Academy Awards, with eight nominations each. They are followed by Rusowsky and Amaral, with five nominations each, while Lía Kali obtains four and Aitana, Zahara and Valeria Castro, three.
Among the nominations of Rosalía stand out Best Pop Album and Album of the Year for Lux, Song of the Year and Best Pop Song for La perla, as well as Best Music Video for Berghain and individual awards for Producer and Composer of the Year. Amaia competes in categories such as Best Music Video for Aralar, Best Pop Album for If I open my eyes it's not real and Artist of the Year.
Guitarricadelafuente opts for Best Alternative Music Album for Spanish Leather, Best Pop Song and Song of the Year for Full time papi, while Leiva enters the competition for Best Pop Rock Song, Album of the Year with Gigante and Best Tour, among other categories.
The president of the Academy, Sole Gímenez, highlighted that this edition will award artists in 43 categories plus an Honorary Award, becoming an authentic celebration of national talent.
