Aida Bao and Aitor Albizua already have a new stop on La 1. The two presenters have been on Mañaneros 360 to advance some of the keys to Cosas nuestras, the new space that RTVE premieres this Saturday, October 3 and that will occupy weekend afternoons with a formula that combines current affairs, entertainment, and public service.
The program will arrive on screen live starting at 7:00 p.m., both on La 1 and RTVE Play, and is born with the intention of turning the weekend into a meeting point for the whole family. RTVE defines the format as a close and accessible proposal, in which current affairs will be the common thread, but will have space for curiosities, events, meteorology, nature, roots, games, and nostalgia.

The new television couple will be accompanied on set by specialized collaborators, while a network of reporters will travel to different parts of Spain to bring stories to the program from where they happen. There will be live connections and recorded reports, with an eye on both major events and those small stories that are part of everyday life.
For Aida Bao, the premiere means taking a step forward after having gained prominence at RTVE in recent months. The journalist now makes the leap to her own project, while Aitor Albizua faces this new adventure after consolidating himself as one of the faces of Cifras y letras. "Well, I'm already connecting with people live on weekends," explained the presenter. After so many weeks of preparation, the television couple admits that the moment has arrived when they just want the premiere day to come. "We've been preparing it for so long that it's true that we have the desire, I don't know, at maximum capacity," confessed Aida. And Aitor found the perfect metaphor to summarize that state of mind: "The cake is burning us. We need to premiere now."
The arrival of Cosas nuestras is also part of the renovation of La 1's weekend afternoons. The space will fill the gap left by Cine de barrio after its move to La 2 and will recover a formula closely linked to public television: that of getting closer to the street, connecting with different parts of the country, and telling current events from a close perspective.
The premiere already has a date and time: Saturday, October 3, at 7:00 p.m., on La 1 and RTVE Play. From then on, Aida Bao and Aitor Albizua will be in charge of launching Saturday and Sunday afternoons with their particular view on everything that, precisely, is part of our things.
