La Séptima continues to shape the programming with which it intends to carve out a niche in Spanish DTT. The new channel, promoted by José Miguel Contreras, has confirmed the incorporation of Alba Carrillo and Marta Márquez, two faces with extensive television experience who will lead one of the formats of the future schedule.

The channel has taken advantage of the announcement to also reveal a previously unreleased piece of information: the name of one of its original programs. It is Fuera de control, a format that will be presented by both and for which all the details about its content and definitive location in the programming have not yet been specified.

The signing has been announced with a promotional piece in a humorous tone in which Marta Márquez receives the news that she will have to share a program with Alba Carrillo. "They have proposed that I present a program with you," Márquez explains in the video, before raising her doubts about the new project. Carrillo's response serves as an anticipation of the lighthearted tone with which the channel has presented this new venture.

With these two additions, La Séptima expands the group of faces it has already begun to announce for its launch. Javier Ruiz was the first major signing confirmed after his departure from Mañaneros 360, while the incorporation of journalist Rocío Delgado, linked for much of her career to Telemadrid and TVG, was subsequently announced.

The arrival of Carrillo and Márquez also represents a new step in the channel's strategy to build an offer based on recognizable faces and conversational formats and, according to Informalia, it will enter the weekend programming. Contreras has defined the project as a generalist television oriented to current affairs, with explanation and analysis as some of its main hallmarks.

The programming will be structured, as Contreras himself has advanced, into four main blocks: a morning focused on current affairs, an afternoon dedicated to analysis, a more dynamic evening, and a prime time conceived for reflection and balance. The channel thus intends to combine information, entertainment, and conversation without necessarily resorting to the traditional news model.

As for its new faces, Alba Carrillo has an extensive television career that began in Supermodelo and later led her to work as a collaborator and presenter in numerous television spaces. She has participated in programs such as Amigas y conocidas, Hable con ellas, Sálvame, Ya es mediodía, Viva la vida or Fiesta, in addition to competing in formats such as Supervivientes or Gran Hermano VIP. Her most recent television stage has been marked by her participation in programs such as Bake Off: Famosos al horno, Hasta el fin del mundo or El sótano club.

For her part, Marta Márquez has developed a good part of her career between regional and national television. She has presented spaces such as Kaos and Abracadabra and has worked on programs such as El Intermedio, Aquí la Tierra, Torres en la cocina, Ilustres ignorantes and Cero en Historia, among others.

La Séptima plans to begin its broadcasts on November 5, so many of the names and formats that will complete its schedule are yet to be known. With Fuera de control, the channel has already named one of its bets and begins to show what kind of television it wants to bring to the remote control.
