The departure of Àngels Barceló from the program Hoy por Hoy on Cadena SER has generated a wave of reactions within the team and among her regular collaborators. The journalist, one of the most recognized voices in Spanish radio, puts an end to a stage of more than 20 years at the station, where she also directed emblematic programs such as A vivir que son dos días or Hora 25.
During his weekly section, Bob Pop was one of the most emotional upon learning firsthand how the communicator faces this decision. The collaborator wanted to address her live with a sincere and direct message: “I'm going to miss you a lot”, hinting at the complicity built between them in recent years.
In a moment of complicity, when the collaborator asked her about her decision to leave radio, Barceló surprised with an ironic response that lowered the emotional charge of the moment: “Well, maybe not”, she said between laughs, provoking the immediate reaction of the team. Barceló has explained that her departure has not been an easy decision, although it was a thoughtful one: “Sometimes it's very hard to make decisions. You think about it, you have bad days, but once it's made, it's made”, she stated on air. The exchange has led to an intimate dialogue in which both have recognized the importance of the professional and personal bond they have developed.

Bob Pop has confessed that, despite their closeness on air, their relationship has been more peculiar than it seems: “We've been on for five seasons and people say we're friends, but we haven't even had a beer together”, he explained, highlighting the naturalness with which they have connected despite working remotely.
The collaborator has highlighted Barceló's talent and the space of freedom she has offered him on the program, while the journalist has reciprocated by thanking him for his contribution: “For there to be complicity, there has to be someone like you”, she replied.
Both have ended up imagining a different future for their professional relationship, even outside of radio. Barceló has joked about the possibility of continuing their consultation in bars or terraces, an idea that both have celebrated with laughter, thus closing a stage marked by complicity and mutual affection on air.
