Sunday once again showed that cinema has a privileged place on free-to-air television. Antena 3 found in Multicine one of its great weapons for the day and managed to prevail with its three films, on an especially favorable afternoon for the channel.
Un sueño para ella, the first installment of the afternoon, reached a 13.6% share and 1.1 million viewers, becoming the best Sunday of the season for Multicine 1. Afterwards, Cartas a Julieta maintained the pulse with an 11.9% and 936,000 viewers in Multicine 2.
The third film, Un amor para volar, also left a particularly notable mark. With a 10.3% share and 747,000 viewers, the title achieved the best Sunday of the year also for Multicine 3, completing an afternoon in which Antena 3 managed to make cinematic fiction its great ally.
A succession of stories, romances, and adventures that once again worked like clockwork on Sunday afternoon. Multicine thus establishes itself as one of Antena 3's great engines during the weekend, demonstrating that, far from losing strength, cinema continues to have an appeal among television audiences.
