Cristina Pardo already has a date for her new television adventure on Antena 3. La Mesa will premiere next Wednesday, September 2 at 11:00 PM, taking over from El Hormiguero on the Atresmedia network's night. The program will thus face the final of Grand Prix on La 1.

The network has taken advantage of a new promotion to advance some details of the format and show its set for the first time. In the video, Pardo receives the news that everything is ready for the premiere and responds, visibly satisfied: "Well, finally!" The presenter culminates the announcement with a resounding "Now yes".

The self-promotion also allows us to see what the set of La Mesa will be like. As the title itself anticipates, a large round table occupies the center of the set, accompanied by five seats: two on each side and one at the head, presumably reserved for Cristina Pardo. In the background, bookshelves with books and different decorative elements can also be distinguished.

The program will mark Pardo's leap to Antena 3 after two decades linked to laSexta. The journalist will be at the helm of a space focused on current affairs that aims to delve into the news, its protagonists, and the stories behind them. The presenter herself already stated that she seeks to combine information and entertainment without sacrificing rigor: "I hope the program is very entertaining, that people can also get informed in that program, that it is rigorous, but that rigor is not confused with rigor mortis".
