Antena 3 has presented the first images of A la deriva, its new fiction bet for prime time. The series, which will also be available on atresplayer, will star Paula Echevarría, Daniel Grao, and Michel Noher and proposes a great ensemble drama set in 1970s Spain, where an unexpected event will change the lives of an entire town forever.

The fiction, consisting of 10 episodes of 50 minutes, begins with the return of several sailors whom their families had given up for dead after a shipwreck two years earlier. This unexpected reunion will shake the life of Lucía (Paula Echevarría), who had managed to rebuild her life with Tristán (Michel Noher) after losing her husband Héctor (Daniel Grao), whose return will unleash a complex sentimental and family conflict.

Filmed between Canary Islands and Madrid, A la deriva sets its action in Bastuel, a small fishing village marked by tragedy. Beyond the mystery surrounding the disappearance and return of the sailors, the series focuses on a group of women who learned to get ahead together and who must now face a past they believed definitively closed. The production addresses themes such as resilience, friendship, sorority, and second chances.

The new series is produced by Boomerang TV together with Buendía Estudios Canarias with the participation of Atresmedia. The cast is completed with names such as Adelfa Calvo, Lola Casamayor, Natalia Huarte, Silvia Alonso, Roberto Enríquez, Albert Baró, David Castillo, Lucía Guerrero or Mariam Hernández, among others. With this production, Antena 3 continues to reinforce its commitment to large-format Spanish fiction for prime time.
