The second part of the fourth season of Bridgerton premiered last February 26 on Netflix, and the first audience data confirm that it continues to be one of the platform's strongest television phenomena. According to Variety, the total views for season 4 reached approximately 28 million views between February 23 and March 1, which led the series to once again rank as the number 1 on Netflix's Top 10 English-language series globally.
This figure reflects that, despite a slight drop compared to the start of the season (which debuted with almost 39.7 million views), the audience continues to connect en masse with the regency production. Bridgerton displaced from the first position other prominent series such as ‘The Night Agent’ (season 3), which remained in second place with about 9.9 million views in that same period.
The formula of dividing seasons into two parts —as Netflix does with several of its big premieres— has shown that it can maintain public interest, at least on this occasion, since the second part not only managed to regain dominance of the charts, but also reinforce the global success of the franchise.
With these numbers, Bridgerton continues consolidating itself as one of the most popular titles on the streaming service, expanding its international impact and keeping fans expectant for what may come in future installments.
