On the program Mañaneros 360, collaborator Chema Garrido has questioned the focus of some media and judicial investigations, criticizing what he considers an unequal treatment depending on the political families affected.

During his intervention, Garrido has pointed out that “here the judicial and media focus is only placed, for example, on the work of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero's daughters”, while he maintains that other public figures would not receive the same level of scrutiny. Along those lines, he has questioned that there isn't, in his opinion, similar attention towards other family environments: “José María Aznar's children can have a lot of connections with lobbies and companies, but nothing happens”, he has stated.

The collaborator has insisted that, according to his view, unequal criteria are being applied: “Here the problem is that only certain people are investigated… Pedro Sánchez's brother, Pedro Sánchez's wife, and José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero”.

For his part, the journalist Chema Garrido has highlighted in an 'X' post his critical stance by stating: “Why aren't Aznar's children investigated? Their connections are extensive, lasting, and evident. But certain sectors are not interested in this. We don't play by the same rules”.
