The Plaza de Colón, in Madrid, will once again become one of the main epicenters for fans during the United States, Mexico, and Canada 2026 World Cup, following an agreement between the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the City Council of the capital to enable a large space for following the national team's matches.

Under the name Plaza Selección, the venue will feature giant screens for broadcasting the matches of the team led by Luis de la Fuente, as well as a wide range of entertainment including live music, gastronomic areas, official stores, and an exhibition of trophies linked to the Spanish national team.
One of the main attractions of the inauguration will be the presence of actor Tom Holland, who will serve as guest of honor in the run-up to the match between Spain and Cape Verde, coinciding with his promotional visit to Madrid for the premiere of his new Spider-Man film alongside his wife Zendaya, who have already confirmed their attendance at El Hormiguero. Their participation seeks to reinforce the festive and media-driven nature of the event.
