'A la deriva' premieres trailer before its arrival on atresplayer: "I don't want him to come back"

Atresplayer has already set a date for the premiere of A la deriva and has released the first trailer for the fiction, starring Paula Echevarría, Daniel Grao, and Michel Noher. The series will arrive on the platform next September 20 with a story marked by the unexpected return of fishermen presumed missing.

The plot unfolds in Bastuel, a small fishing village deeply marked by the shipwreck of the boat captained by Héctor Parrado. Two years after the tragedy, five of the missing men reappear unexpectedly. Their return is received with joy and as that of true heroes, but it also causes conflicts and secrets that seemed buried to surface.

Among the stories that reopen is that of Lucía, played by Paula Echevarría. The protagonist had managed to rebuild her life after a relationship marked by manipulation and violence, but Héctor's return threatens to drag her back to a past she had managed to escape. "I don't want him to come back," she expresses in the trailer at the possibility of reuniting with him.

Lucía is also not willing to give up Tristán, the man who has shown her a different way of understanding love. Along with Maca, Rosa, Berta, and Paloma, she will try to defend the life she has built while the return of the so-called "resurrected" completely alters the balance of the town.

The fiction is produced by Boomerang TV together with Buendía Estudios Canarias, with the participation of Atresmedia. The series features Susana López Rubio, Javier Holgado, and Juan Beiro as screenwriters and is directed by Humberto Miró, Menna Fité, and David Montoya. Executive production is handled by Luis Santamaría, while Lucía Alonso and Humberto Miró sign the co-executive production.

With the shipwreck as a starting point, A la deriva thus presents a story of second chances, secrets, and past wounds, but also of women who try to regain control over their own lives. The fiction will premiere on September 20 on atresplayer.
