'Drag Race España' raises the stakes with its sixth season: a drag king, a "witch" and 12 new queens ready to conquer the crown

The new generation of Drag Race España has already shown its cards. After officially presenting its 12 participants in the most watched Meet the Queens of the franchise, atresplayer is warming up for the premiere of the sixth season, which will arrive on the platform next September 27.

Àlex Marteen, Alma DeSoul, Buba Anorex, Coco Luna, Joan Chevalier, Kim Miller, Liak, Liz Dust, Maitetxu Mia, Marcus Massalami, Sorny and Vanessa Artiles are the new faces that will face the challenges, runways and lipsyncs of the show with a single objective: to become the next drag superstar of Spain.

A casting that breaks molds

The sixth edition also comes with some particularly striking novelties. Among the 12 participants is the first drag king of the Spanish version of the format, an incorporation that expands the usual profiles of the competition.

The casting also features other characters that promise to mark the season, including a contestant who defines herself as the first "witch" of the franchise and new profiles that seek to bring proposals far from the usual archetypes to the show's stage.

Variety is once again one of the great assets of this edition, with artists from different parts of Spain and styles ranging from more conceptual proposals to profiles focused on interpretation, fashion, comedy or entertainment.

Supremme de Luxe returns to the helm

At the helm of this new race for the crown continues Supremme de Luxe, while the jury is once again made up of Javier Ambrossi, Javier Calvo and Ana Locking, along with the presenter.

The mechanics will once again pit the contestants against different challenges in which they will have to demonstrate their talent on stage and defend their proposals on the runway. Each week, one of them will have to leave the competition after the corresponding lipsync.
