'Drag Race España' warms up its engines for its sixth season: new queens, challenges, and surprises on atresplayer

Drag Race España is already preparing its return to atresplayer with a sixth edition that will once again bring together a new generation of queens ready to conquer the crown. The production will face a new season with novelties in its mechanics and different twists that will seek to surprise both the contestants and the viewers.

Supremme de Luxe will repeat as mistress of ceremonies, while the jury will maintain its usual lineup with Javier Calvo, Javier Ambrossi, and Ana Locking. The program will once again test the artistic abilities of its participants through interpretation, dance, photography, music, and different creative challenges.

The competition will maintain its structure based on mini challenges, maxi challenges, and runway, where the queens will have to defend their proposals each week before the jury. The objective will be to overcome the different challenges and avoid elimination until reaching a final in which only one can win the title of Spanish drag superstar. The winner will also receive a prize of 50,000 euros.

Before the start of the competition, the traditional Meet the Queens will arrive, which will serve to discover the new contestants of this sixth edition. The special will premiere on September 6 at 8:00 PM on atresplayer, as a first contact with the new promotion before their entry into the workshop.

The season will once again be backed by Atresmedia and World of Wonder, with Buendía Estudios as a collaborating producer. The sixth edition will arrive on atresplayer during the month of September and will thus continue the trajectory of one of the platform's most consolidated international franchises.
