Eduardo 'El Campanero' becomes the winner of 'La Voz Kids' after the closest vote in its history

The eleventh edition of La Voz Kids already has a winner. Eduardo Sánchez, artistically known as 'El Campanero', lifted the trophy of the Antena 3 contest this Saturday after winning a final marked by the very high level of its participants and by a vote that kept the uncertainty until the last moment. The young artist, a member of Antonio Orozco's team, captivated the audience with an interpretation of Alfileres de colores, by Miguel Poveda, which ended up being decisive for him to win.

Before reaching the final verdict, the coaches had to make a first selection among the eight semifinalists who had reached the last gala. From that screening came the four title aspirants: Evolett, from Luis Fonsi's team; Marcos, from Ana Mena's team; Martina, representing Edurne; and Eduardo 'El Campanero', the only finalist from Antonio Orozco's team. It was then that the audience present on set assumed all responsibility for deciding the winner.

The emotion was at its peak during the vote count. Eva González revealed that it was "the most contested vote of all editions of 'La Voz Kids'", an unprecedented circumstance in the history of the format. As usual, the program did not make public the percentages obtained by each contestant nor did it establish an order among the four finalists, limiting itself to announcing the name of the winner once the scrutiny was concluded.

The outcome caused one of the most emotional images of the night. Antonio Orozco celebrated his talent's triumph and assured that Eduardo has a promising career ahead of him. "In a very short time he will be one of the most relevant flamenco artists in Spain," affirmed the coach, convinced of the young Sevillian's potential to make his way in the music scene.

At just 13 years old, Eduardo had already demonstrated throughout the edition a very defined artistic personality and a strong connection with flamenco. A native of Seville, the contestant has told the program that much of his free time is spent in La Campana, his grandparents' town, where he enjoys the countryside, animals, and horse-drawn carriage rides with his grandfather, with whom he shares his passion for singing.

In addition to the recognition as winner of La Voz Kids, Eduardo received a 10,000 euro training scholarship to continue his musical studies, will record a single with Universal Music and will enjoy a family vacation at PortAventura World, prizes with which the program promotes the start of the young singer's career after an edition that once again confirmed the enormous level of the new generations of artists.
