The awaited reboot of Baywatch (The beach lifeguards) has already begun filming and the first images from the set have been revealed, showing its new cast in action on the beaches of California. The photographs allow seeing Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon, now converted into a captain and heir to his father's legacy, alongside a team formed by Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck, Hassie Harrison and Jessica Belkin, among others.
The new cast combines familiar faces with emerging profiles and figures from the digital world, in a clear bid to attract new generations without losing the essence of the original format.

The plot will follow Hobie, now an adult, whose life will take a turn with the arrival of a daughter he didn't know about and who aspires to become a lifeguard, introducing a family component that will mark this new stage. In addition, the series will feature the return of David Chokachi, one of the classic faces, strengthening the link with the original fiction.
With a premiere scheduled for the 2026-2027 season, the reboot promises to maintain the action, drama, and spectacular rescues that turned Baywatch into a global phenomenon, now adapted for a current audience.
