Flooxer continues to reinforce its commitment to vertical series and is already working on Baddie, its first suspense fiction within this format. After becoming a pioneer in Spain in this type of production, Atresmedia's young content brand expands its catalog with a thriller aimed at young-adult audiences that will arrive divided into two seasons.
The story revolves around Leila's suicide attempt, an event that will serve as a starting point to develop the narrative from two different perspectives. The first installment, consisting of 30 episodes, will star Lucía de la Puerta, who plays Nina, the young woman's sister. Through an investigation on social networks, she will discover unknown aspects of Leila's life that will completely change the image she had of her.
In the second season, Rita González will take over as the protagonist to bring Leila to life and reconstruct her story from the past. The fiction will show how the young woman ends up trapped in an environment marked by bad influences, loneliness, and a critical situation that leads her to the dramatic outcome. Both timelines will eventually converge to close the story.
Directed by Marc Pujolar, 'Baddie' completes its cast with Max Navarro, former contestant of OT 2025, Ariadna Llobet, Uri Herrera, Albert García, Albert Prat and Ana de Alva. The series is a production of Atresmedia in collaboration with YouPlanet and will also be available outside of Spain through the international version of atresplayer, consolidating the group's commitment to new formats adapted to digital consumption.
