Malas lenguas has started a new stage on RTVE with Gonzalo Miró and Esther Palomera at the helm of its broadcast on La 2, maintaining a solid response from the audience. The program faces this new season with changes in its presentation team and a renewed commitment to current affairs, information, and analysis, two of the main pillars of its proposal.

On La 2, the program registered 534,000 average viewers, a 7.7% screen share, and 1.5 million contacts. Added to these data are those obtained in its segment on La 1, where Malas lenguas featured Ana Hinestrosa and managed to make a significant leap in audience: 754,000 average viewers and a 10.8% screen share, in addition to 1,588,000 unique viewers (AA). These figures highlight the format's ability to expand its reach when it occupies RTVE's main channel.

One of the most notable moments of the broadcast was the interview with Óscar Puente, which took the program to an 8.5% screen share on La 2. The conversation with the minister thus became one of the strong points of the day and once again highlighted the weight of current affairs interviews within a format that combines information, debate, and analysis on the issues that mark the political and social agenda.

With Gonzalo Miró and Esther Palomera as the new faces of its stage on La 2, Malas lenguas now faces the challenge of consolidating this response and turning its good ratings into a sustained trend. RTVE has once again moved its pieces to reinforce its current affairs offering in the afternoons, while the program seeks to carve out its own niche with a formula that does not limit itself to telling what happens, but invites analysis, debate, and putting it into perspective.
