Grison makes the solo leap: he will present 'El escondite', RTVE's new family bet

Grison will be in charge of presenting El escondite (The Hiding Place), the new family entertainment bet from RTVE, a format inspired by the classic game of hide-and-seek brought to a large-scale television production.

The program is conceived as an immersive game experience where strategy, improvisation, and humor will be key. The network opts for a profile like Grison's due to his ability to connect with very different audiences and his spontaneous style, marked by music, comedy, and improvisation.

The format will take place in a large two-story house with more than a hundred hiding places, specifically designed to generate tension, surprise, and dynamism in each round. Contestants must move through wide spaces and hidden areas, in an environment that transforms the traditional game into a television spectacle.

The production is the Spanish adaptation of an international format created by Talpa Studios and David Grifhorst, developed together with FOX Entertainment Studios, and will feature the collaboration of Warner Bros. ITVP Spain. Filming will take place soon in the Netherlands.

With this project, RTVE reinforces its commitment to family entertainment in prime time, relying on a presenter who is already one of the most recognizable faces on current television.
