In the midst of a wave of television comebacks and nostalgic reunions, twenty years after its premiere, Hannah Montana will return to our televisions with a commemorative special on Disney+. The platform has announced the launch of a program dedicated to reviewing the television phenomenon that marked an entire generation and turned Miley Cyrus into an international star.

The special, which will arrive on March 24, will function as a celebration of the phenomenon that started in 2006 and changed the youth television of the time. The program will review key scenes, show material that was not seen at the time, and teach how the story of Miley Stewart and her secret life as a pop star was shaped.

It will also include a conversation with Miley Cyrus, who will speak with perspective about what it meant to play the character that launched her to fame. Without great fanfare, the special aims to look back and acknowledge the real impact of the series.

The idea is simple: reconnect with the most remembered symbols —like the iconic closet or the musical performances— and appeal to the nostalgia of those who grew up with Hannah Montana. More than a comeback, it's a way to celebrate the era that marked a whole generation.
