The third season of La Casa del Dragón already has a confirmed date. The series will return to HBO Max on June 21, 2026, as announced by the platform along with the release of its first official trailer.
The season will feature eight episodes, which will premiere weekly until its finale on August 9. The preview already shows the epic tone of the new installment, with intense battles, tensions between factions, and the return of the dragons as a key piece of the conflict.
In the trailer, the character of Rhaenyra Targaryen anticipates an outcome marked by war and the destiny of the Seven Kingdoms, while large-scale scenes with confrontations and dragon fire unfold.
The series brings back its main cast, with Matt Smith, Emma D'Arcy and Olivia Cooke, in addition to new additions and secondary characters that will expand the saga's universe.
The fiction is part of the expansion of the universe of Juego de Tronos, driven by Warner Bros. Discovery, which is preparing new projects, prequels and possible spin-offs to keep the franchise alive in the coming years.
With this premiere, the series returns after two years of waiting, in a context in which the network seeks to reinforce its great fantasy saga as one of its main content pillars.
