The original Disney+ series, “If it's Tuesday, it's murder”, will have its world premiere at the 29th edition of the Festival de Málaga (specifically on March 10) within the special out-of-competition screenings. Created by Carlos Vila and directed by Salvador Calvo and Abigail Schaaff, the production, in collaboration with the Lazona group, was filmed entirely in Lisbon, taking advantage of some of its most emblematic places as a setting. For its part, Disney+ announced the arrival of the series exclusively on the platform next March 31.
The story follows a group of Spanish tourists whose trip transforms into an investigation after a mysterious murder. Among clues, suspects, and personal secrets, the protagonists will have to bring out their detective skills before their vacation ends.
The cast features prominent names such as Álex García, Inma Cuesta, Ana Wagener, Biel Montoro, Pedro Casablanc, Luisa Gavasa, Carmen Ruiz and Portuguese talent such as Paulo Pires and Adriano Carvalho, among others, offering a broad and highly prestigious cast.
With this premiere, Disney+ reinforces its commitment to original content in Spain, adding a local fiction with big names from cinema and television, prepared to capture both mystery fans and those looking for new dramatic content with its own style.
