Spanish fashion has celebrated a new night of recognition with the III edition of the Spanish Fashion Academy Awards, an event that consolidates its growth and brings together some of the most prominent firms and creators in the sector. The gala, presented by Jesús Vázquez at the Gran Teatro Príncipe Pío in Madrid, has distinguished a total of 13 categories ranging from artistic creation to business innovation.
The main recognition, that of Best Collection, has gone to Isabel Sanchís, for a proposal inspired by Japan that combines textile tradition and new technologies. In this same category, names such as Carlota Barrera, Devota & Lomba or Juan Vidal competed.
Precisely, Juan Vidal has been another of the protagonists of the night by winning the award for Best Fashion Show Presentation, while in the career section, Adolfo Domínguez has received the Honorary Award, vindicating the union between creativity and business vision in the fashion industry.
The International Award has gone to Manolo Blahnik, who thanked the recognition through a video message in which he highlighted the influence of Spanish culture on his work. The gala has also distinguished Helena Rohner in jewelry and accessories, Lola Casademunt in the business field or Habey Club as novel talent, among other award winners.
