Cristina Pedroche will once again be one of the protagonists of televised New Year's Eve. The presenter has already confirmed that she will host the New Year's Chimes on Atresmedia to welcome 2027, a piece of news she announced during her visit to El hormiguero, where she appeared with her husband, chef Dabiz Muñoz.
Pablo Motos wanted to clear up doubts about the communicator's future on the New Year's Chimes and asked her directly if she would repeat this year. The presenter played coy for a few seconds but ended up confirming that she will be back in Madrid's Puerta del Sol next December 31. "But of course!", she replied with exclamations. With her affirmative answer, Pedroche clears up doubts about her presence in one of the most recognizable events of the group's Christmas programming, which she has been doing since 2014.
In this way, the communicator will face her thirteenth consecutive New Year's Eve at the helm of Atresmedia's New Year's Chimes. A trajectory that has turned her participation into a tradition for a large part of the audience and has placed her wardrobe choices among the most commented topics of each year-end.
What will the dress be like and who will accompany her?
Beyond the twelve grapes, Pedroche's outfits have become one of the main focuses of attention of the broadcast. Each year, the presenter keeps the details of her proposal secret until the moment of the broadcast, which fuels anticipation around her appearance.
For now, her return is confirmed, but there are still unknowns to be resolved. One of the main ones is whether Alberto Chicote will accompany her again from the balcony to welcome the new year. The chef has shared the screen with Pedroche at this event during previous editions, although his participation for the 2026 New Year's Chimes has not yet been officially announced.
We will also have to wait to find out the wardrobe chosen by the presenter and the staging with which she will bid farewell to the year. Until then, Atresmedia has already secured the return of one of its most associated faces with New Year's Eve.
