The former President of the Government, Mariano Rajoy, has defended the continuity of agreements between PP and Vox during the inauguration ceremony of the new Executive of Castilla y León, emphasizing that “agreements should be made for four years and what has been agreed upon should be fulfilled,” in reference to the full duration of the legislature.
Rajoy’s words come in the context of the consolidation of pacts between both formations in different autonomous communities, where they already govern jointly or with stable parliamentary agreements.
In parallel, analyst Javier Aroca has assessed the current political situation on the program ‘Malas Lenguas’, stating that “today it is impossible to ideologically separate PP and Vox,” in allusion to the growing harmony and increasingly smaller distance between both parties in different areas of government, predicting what will probably also happen in Andalusia.
The debate thus returns to the center of political news after the intervention of the former president, who has reopened the discussion about the evolution of relations between both formations in Spanish regional politics.
