Javier Milei has starred in a tense moment with the press upon his arrival in Madrid. The president of Argentina, who is in Spain on a private visit, has avoided answering journalists' questions about his agenda and the government's criticism of his presence in the country. "I don't waste my time on stupid, incompetent, impoverishing leftists," he snapped before continuing on his way without stopping.
Media questions focused on a possible interview with the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and on the reactions of the Executive and the PSOE to his visit. Milei chose not to answer any of these questions and dismissed the journalists with a phrase that marked the beginning of his day in the Spanish capital.

Shortly after, the Argentine president shifted his attacks to the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, during a conference organized by Nueva Economía Fórum at the Casino de Madrid. In his speech, Milei called the head of the Executive an "unpresentable dictator", once again raising the tone of his confrontations with the Spanish Government.
The event was attended by the President of the Senate, Pedro Rollán, of the Popular Party. Milei's presence in Madrid once again places the tensions between the Argentine president and Sánchez's Executive at the center of current events, in a visit marked by his statements against socialism and by the expectation surrounding his possible meetings with Spanish political leaders.
