Junior Eurovision once again stood out in La 1's programming with an edition that achieved a 12.2% audience share and an average of 1,212,000 viewers. The music contest led the night in its time slot and recorded its best share since 2006, in addition to reaching its highest audience since 2019, according to data released by RTVE.
The viewership also stood out among younger audiences. The festival reached an 18.9% share among children aged 4 to 12 and a 19.2% in the 13 to 24 age group, two particularly relevant segments for a format aimed at connecting with new generations. In total, more than 4.6 million viewers tuned into the broadcast at some point during the night.
This year's edition also leaves a remarkable result for Spain in the musical field. Lucas Paulano finished in second position with Cuore Bello, which obtained 184 points and was only 18 points away from victory. The result equals Spain's best classification since the country returned to the contest in 2019.
