The commitment to incisive journalism and live debate in RTVE's afternoons continues to break new ground. 'Malas Lenguas', the format hosted by Jesús Cintora on La 2, closed the week breaking all its records by signing this Friday a spectacular 8.9% audience share, the highest figure in the program's history on the second public channel.

The figures reflect the weight the format has gained in the afternoon slot: the data obtained almost triples the channel's usual monthly average and stands out on a day where La 2 averaged a meritorious 5.2%. The program's pulling power was evident in the volume of contacts, gathering 2,151,000 unique viewers who tuned in at some point to Cintora's analysis and verification desk.

This competitive strength is not limited to the second channel. The format had a perfect Friday by also leading its broadcast slot on La 1 with a solid 11.4% share, 764,000 loyal followers and more than 1.6 million contacts, demonstrating the effectiveness of simultaneous broadcasting and its transversality among audiences across the corporation.

With the political current affairs formula consolidated as one of RTVE's main audience drivers, the team now transfers this momentum to the prime time slot with the broadcast of 'Malas Lenguas Noche', which meets viewers again today from 9:40 PM on La 2 and aims to continue leading its broadcast slot.
